We are an OEM & ODM apparel manufacturer built around self-owned factories and an integrated supplier network.

This enables us to control every stage — from fabric R&D, patterning, production, and QC to logistics — maintaining consistency and flexibility across the supply chain.

Q2 | Where are your factories located?

Our main factories are located in Jiaxing (Zhejiang) and Huangshi (Hubei), supported by cooperative production bases in Vietnam and Cambodia for capacity expansion and tariff flexibility.

Q3 | What kind of production capacity do you have?

We produce over 30 million garments annually, covering activewear, seamless, outerwear, and lifestyle apparel. Each factory operates with lean production systems and semi-automated sewing lines.

Q4 | What types of clients do you serve?

We collaborate with international sportswear, outdoor, and lifestyle and fashion brands, including both large global retailers and independent designers seeking ODM solutions.

Our experience includes working with Alo Yoga, Gymshark, The North Face, Oysho, ZARA, DKNY, MaxMara, Carhartt, Stussy, Seafolly, Twinset, Intersport and others.

B. OEM & ODM Service

Q5 | What’s the difference between OEM and ODM at Layo?

l  OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturing): We produce garments according to your tech pack or approved sample.

l  ODM (Original Design Manufacturing): We handle everything from design concept, fabric development, and prototyping to packaging and shipment — fully customized to your brand identity.

Q6 | How do you support new or small brands?

Layo offers flexible MOQ starting from 200–300 pcs per style, sample cost deduction, and small-batch pilot runs to help startups and niche labels launch efficiently.

Q7 | Can you develop products from a photo or reference sample?

Yes. Our design and technical team can create a complete tech pack based on your reference garment or image, including measurement specs, fabric suggestions, and sewing construction details.

Q8 | How long does it take for sampling and bulk production?

l  Sampling: 7–10 working days

l  Bulk Production: 30–45 days after confirmation

Lead time may vary depending on fabric type, process, and order size.

Q9 | Do you provide design trend suggestions?

Yes. Our design studio releases seasonal trend capsules inspired by global fashion and fabric fairs, offering color, silhouette, and fabric recommendations for brand reference.

Q11 | What technologies and equipment do you use?

We employ automatic cutting systems, laser bonding, four-needle six-thread sewing, Fuse-type down chamber, seamless knitting, automatic sleeve-fork machines, and digital pressing systems for precision and consistency.

Q12 | What fabrics can you offer?

Our sourcing and R&D team develops materials such as recycled polyester/nylon, Sorona®, Tencel®, bamboo, PFAS-free finishes, moisture-wicking knits, and thermal bonded fabrics.

Q13 | Can you customize trims and accessories?

Yes. We provide custom elastic bands, zippers, silicon logos, reflective transfers, and sustainable packaging options.

D. Sustainability & Certifications

Q14 | What sustainability practices are implemented?

Over 60% of our production uses recycled or eco-certified fabrics. We prioritize PFAS-free finishes, water-saving dyeing, and energy-efficient processes throughout production.

Q15 | Which certifications do your factories hold?

We are audited and certified under BSCI, SEDEX, GRS, and OEKO-TEX®. For specific clients, we also meet brand-level compliance programs.

Q16 | How does Layo reduce its carbon footprint?

We utilize smart energy systems, waste heat recovery, and digital monitoring to track emissions. Our sustainability goals align with UN SDGs 12 & 13 on responsible production and carbon reduction.

Q17 | Do you use biodegradable or plant-based materials?

Yes. We offer biodegradable nylon, Sorona®, Tencel™, and bamboo viscose fabrics for eco-friendly collections.

E. MOQ, Pricing & Logistics

Q18 | What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

Typically 200–300 pcs per style, depending on fabric, trims, and process. For seamless or bonded items, MOQ aligns with yarn or film minimums.

Q19 | Can you meet my target price?

Yes. We prepare Good / Better / Best pricing options — balancing material choice, sewing construction, and finishing techniques to fit different brand positions.

Q20 | What trade terms and payment methods do you support?

We support FOB, CIF, and DDP shipping terms. Payment can be made by T/T, L/C, or open account based on credit insurance and client history.

Q21 | Do you manage delivery and customs?

Yes. Our logistics team coordinates door-to-door delivery, including customs clearance and shipment tracking to EU, UK, US, and APAC destinations.

F. Quality Control & Testing

Q22 | How do you ensure consistent quality?

We conduct 3-stage inspection:

l  IQC: Incoming material inspection

l  IPQC: In-line quality control

l  FQC: Final inspection before shipment

All based on AQL 2.5 standards with digital photo reports.

Q23 | Which testing standards can you meet?

We follow AATCC, ISO, REACH, and specific brand standards. Tests include colorfastness, shrinkage, pilling, tear strength, waterproofing, and RSL compliance.

Q24 | Do you allow third-party inspections?

Yes. We work with SGS, BV, and Intertek for external audits and inspections.

G. Automation & Digitalization

Q25 | What automation systems are in use?

We use automatic pocket welting, sleeve-fork sewing, and pressing machines, alongside smart fabric cutters and real-time production data monitoring. Automation improves precision and productivity by up to 25%.

Q26 | Do you offer 3D virtual sampling or digital fittings?

Yes. Our team supports 3D garment rendering and video fit checks to speed up design approval and reduce sampling waste.

Q27 | How do you protect client data and designs?

We sign NDAs, apply encrypted file transfer, and implement access-level data control for all customer projects.

H. Cooperation & After-Sales

Q28 | How do you handle quality issues or complaints?

If an issue arises, we conduct a root cause analysis and issue a CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) report. Compensation, remake, or credit is discussed transparently.
